No Refunds
All registrations are final and non-refundable. Fees cannot be refunded or credited due to missed classes, illness, vacation, scheduling conflicts, or changes in plans.
Missed Payments
Monthly payments are due by the date shown on the invoice. A student's weekly space is reserved only while the account is in good standing. If payment is overdue, CMA Studio may pause lessons until the balance is paid. Missed classes due to unpaid fees are not refundable or transferable. CMA Studio may end the seasonal commitment and release the student's space if an account remains unpaid. Outstanding balances remain payable.
Attendance & Cancellations
Please notify CMA Studio if your child will be absent. Missed classes are not eligible for refunds or credits, and make-up classes are not guaranteed. If CMA Studio cancels a class, a reasonable make-up option or other accommodation will be provided where possible.
Drop-Off, Pick-Up & Travel
Parents/guardians are responsible for arranging their child's transportation to and from CMA Studio. Children must arrive safely and be picked up promptly after class.
If a child will walk to or from the studio independently, a parent/guardian must provide consent through the registration form. By giving permission, the parent/guardian accepts responsibility for the child's travel before and after class. CMA Studio's supervision begins when the student arrives for class and ends when class is dismissed.
Studio Behaviour
Students are expected to treat instructors, other students, artwork, tools, and the studio with respect; follow safety instructions; use materials appropriately; and participate in cleanup. CMA Studio may contact a parent/guardian if behaviour consistently affects the safety or experience of the group.
Additional Support
If a student requires additional support to participate safely or successfully, a parent/guardian or designated support person may be asked to remain present. If behaviour becomes unsafe or significantly disrupts the class, CMA Studio may pause or end the lesson and contact the parent/guardian.
Artwork & Firing
Clay is unpredictable. Pieces may crack, break, warp, or otherwise change during drying, glazing, and firing. While reasonable care will be taken, CMA Studio cannot guarantee that every piece will survive the process. Imperfection and unexpected results are part of working with clay.
Liability & Assumption of Risk
Pottery involves inherent risks associated with tools, equipment, materials, slips, falls, and other studio activities. As the parent/guardian, I understand these risks and voluntarily permit my child to participate. I agree to release and hold harmless CMA Studio, Chloe Brown, Create Movement Art Studio, Victoria Street Center, and their instructors, owners, and representatives from claims arising from my child's participation, except where prohibited by law or where liability cannot legally be excluded.
