Ceramic Tile Workshop

Tuesdays, 6pm–8pm
This 4-week ceramic tile workshop is designed for all skill levels — whether you’re brand new to clay or looking to expand your handbuilding and surface design techniques.
Throughout the series, you’ll explore slab building to create unique ceramic tiles, learning how to roll, cut, and shape your forms with precision and creativity. We’ll also focus on carving and surface design, adding texture and pattern through hand tools and thoughtful composition. In the final sessions, you’ll decorate your tiles using underglazes, experimenting with colour layering, washes and detail work to bring your designs to life.
This small, private group setting offers plenty of one-on-one guidance and a relaxed, inspiring atmosphere — perfect for slowing down, experimenting, and enjoying the process of making by hand.
