A fun, hands-on pottery program designed for young makers to explore clay, build confidence and develop new skills in a relaxed studio environment. Perfect for both new and returning students, with projects that allow each maker to build on their existing experience while continuing to learn and experiment.

Each month, we’ll introduce a new pottery technique or seasonal project, with projects intentionally designed to unfold over multiple weeks. Working across consecutive weeks allows each child to work at their own pace, revisit techniques, make changes and experience the full creative process.

Throughout the fall, projects will explore autumn, Halloween, and holiday-inspired themes, while building pottery skills and creative independence.

Students will learn to:

• Build with clay using age-appropriate handbuilding techniques

• Explore different pottery tools, textures, and surface designs

• Glaze and finish their creations

• Develop good studio habits and learn how to care for their workspace

• Make creative choices and experiment with their own ideas

• Create alongside other young makers in a welcoming environment

The program is designed to provide meaningful, screen-free creative time where kids can slow down and enjoy the process of making something with their hands.
