Handbuilding Beginner II is a continuation of your clay journey—an opportunity to refine your skills, experiment with form and bring more intention to your creative process. Building on the foundational pinch, coil, and slab methods, this 5-week course explores more advanced construction, surface decoration, and glazing techniques.
This session also offers an optional festive focus for those who’d like to make seasonal pieces—such as mugs, candle holders, ornaments, or serving ware—for the holidays. Whether you choose to get festive or follow your own creative direction, this course offers a relaxed, supportive studio atmosphere that encourages curiosity, mindfulness and the quiet joy of making by hand.
Classes are two hours long and run for five consecutive weeks.
