Holiday Makers — 5 Week Adult Pottery Course (18+)

Get into the holiday spirit with five cozy, hands-on evenings of making with clay. Holiday Makers Sessions is a beginner-friendly handbuilding pottery course designed for creating handmade gifts, seasonal pottery and special pieces to enjoy in your own home.

Over the course of five weeks, you'll explore the fundamentals of handbuilding, including slab building, pinching, coiling, joining, shaping and simple surface decoration. Holiday-inspired project ideas and templates will be available throughout the course, giving you plenty of inspiration while still leaving room to create pieces that are uniquely your own. Creative freedom is always encouraged, so feel free to bring your own ideas along with you!

Create thoughtful handmade gifts for family and friends, or make something special for yourself — from mugs, bowls, and serving pieces to candle holders, ornaments, small décor and other seasonal creations.

Each session is relaxed, unhurried and hands-on, with guidance provided throughout the making process. Whether you're new to pottery or simply looking for a creative way to slow down during the busy holiday season, this course offers a welcoming space to learn, make and enjoy the process.

There will be no class on Tuesday, December 1: This week is intentionally built into the course schedule while your pieces are being bisque fired and prepared for the final session. When we return on December 8, you'll have your finished bisque-fired pieces ready for the fun part — painting, decorating and glazing them before their final firing.

All materials, tools, glazing, and kiln firings are included.
