Foundations of Handbuilding — 5-Week Course

A quiet, grounding introduction to working with clay. Over five weeks, you’ll learn the essentials of handbuilding—pinching, coiling, slab work and simple surface techniques—while creating thoughtful pieces at your own pace.

Each session is unhurried and tactile, centred on the joy of shaping clay with your hands and finding calm in the process. Whether you’re new to clay or returning after time away, this course offers a gentle foundation to build confidence, rhythm and creative presence.

All materials, tools, and firings are included. No experience needed—just curiosity and a willingness to slow down.
