Service Description

Ages 7–17 1 hour · Weekly · Individual instruction Private pottery lessons at CMA Studio offer a quiet, more individualized studio experience and can be especially well suited to students who thrive with 1:1 support, flexible pacing and a learning environment tailored to their individual needs and interests. Private pottery lessons are offered as an ongoing weekly program, similar to music or art lessons. ​ Families and students can choose from: Monthly (4-week) commitment Seasonal (4-month) commitment Full school-year (Sept-June) commitment Your weekly lesson time is reserved specifically for you, your child, or your small group.


Cancellation Policy

We’re so glad you’ll be joining us at CMA Studio! These policies are designed to ensure a safe, enjoyable, and inspiring creative environment for everyone. By registering for a class, workshop, or private event, you agree to follow these guidelines. 1. Registration & Payment - Full payment secures your spot. - No refunds. Credit may be applied to a future class or transferred to a friend. - Payment plans available upon request. 2. Attendance & Cancellations - Doors will be open 10 minutes prior to class start time. - If CMA Studio cancels due to low enrolment or unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be issued. - Weather: Classes are only canceled in extreme conditions. If so, a make-up class will be scheduled. 3. Studio Etiquette - Be kind and respectful to others. - Clean your workspace and tools before leaving. - Water bottles only inside at the studio workbench. 4. Materials & Projects - Clay, glazes and firing fees are included unless otherwise noted. - Label personal tools clearly. - Projects must be collected within 30 days after the course ends; unclaimed work may be discarded. 5. Private Events - Deposit required to book (non refundable). Balance due 7 days before the event. - Cancellations with less than 72 hours’ notice may forfeit 50% of booking total. - Events can be tailored to your group’s needs. 6. Health & Safety - Closed-toe shoes required. - Tie back long hair; avoid loose clothing or dangling jewelry. - Report broken tools immediately. Follow all safety instructions. - Short, trimmed finger nails are best when working with clay. 7. Code of Conduct - Respect instructors, classmates and the studio environment. - Harassment, bullying, or unsafe behaviour will not be tolerated. - CMA Studio reserves the right to dismiss participants without refund if necessary. Liability Waiver: 
Pottery involves some risk. By registering, you acknowledge this, agree to follow all safety directions, and release CMA Studio, its instructors and Victoria Street Centre from liability for injuries, accidents, or damages that may occur. Agreement:
